OUR HISTORY
Many people are curious as to the origin of our company
name and how we started in the tour business. It all began
with the opening of our kitchenware shop called "Cooks
Know How" in May of 1981. Along with selling cookware
and kitchen gadgets, we also held cooking classes taught by
a variety of local chefs, many of whom were graduates of the
renowned Culinary Institute of America. Their enthusiasm and
excitement for their alma mater sparked our interest in this
unique school. So with 40 adventurous travelers, we set off
on our very first Motorcoach Trip. We toured the beautiful
Hudson Valley area, visited the Mansions, dined in one the
4 star restaurants at the Culinary, and had a great time.
This was the start of our tour business which now include
Day & Multi-Day Coach, Domestic and International Air Tours
as well as Cruises. With the closing of the kitchen shop we
shortened our name to Know How Tours.

There's no need to leave your car or to have someone
drive you to the Airport. We can arrange for you to have a
Door-To-Door Pick-Up. A taxi will take you to the airport
and return you to the same location. This service is available
in Buffalo and area Suburbs.
There's no need to worry when you sign up early. Cancellation/Interruption
Insurance is included in our scheduled Multi-Day Motor Coach
and Air Tours so you will receive financial protection in
the event of illness, injury or death of yourself, your traveling
companion or a member of your immediate family. An important
additional benefit of this coverage is the Trip Interruption
Insurance, which will pay for your transportation back home
and provide reimbursement for any uncompleted portion of your
trip. We will process the insurance application right from
our office - you won't have to do a thing.
