To complete your vacation, we include roundtrip airport-to-hotel transfers whenpurchasing Collette airfare with your tour. If you have arranged for your own air, we arepleased to provide you the option of purchasing these transfers. Please note that alltransfers will leave at pre-scheduled times.

*When the breakfast cruise is not available, breakfast in the Rainbow Room at LakePowell Resort will be substituted, followed by a special cruise.

**On some departures, an overnight will be substituted at Bryce Canyon Lodge.

Collette air passengers will arrive into the Phoenix, Arizona airport. All Collettetransfers will depart from the Phoenix airport for Scottsdale.

This tour requires average physical activity. You should be in good health, able to climbstairs and walk reasonable distances, possibly over uneven grounds and cobblestonestreets.

A journey through Canyon Country brings you into a colorful world of stunning southwestern vistas and the unique topography of three national parks: Zion, Bryce and the Grand Canyon. Roll up your sleeves for a good old-fashioned Chili Cook-Off. Take time to shop in Sedona's marketplace and travel through Kaibab National Forest. Luxuriate at the Lake Powell Resort for two nights. Enjoy the stark beauty of Monument Valley during a jeep ride narrated by a Navajo tribal member. Then it's off to the neon-lit spectacle of Las Vegas.

ITINERARY

Day 1: Scottsdale, Arizona - Tour Begins
A tour of canyon country features some of America's most colorfuland spectacular scenery and includes visits to three national parks.Your vacation begins in the colorful city of Scottsdale. Today dinnerwill be included.

Day 2: Scottsdale - Phoenix - Scottsdale
This morning will be a highlight of your trip as you enjoy a chatwith a local Native American tribe member. Learn about thedifferent tribes of the area, their histories, and modern day life ofNative Americans in Arizona. After your presentation, a local guidewill introduce you to Scottsdale and Phoenix. Highlights of this tourinclude downtown Phoenix, Camelback Mountain, Paradise Valley,Old Town Scottsdale and more. Next you will learn how NativeAmerican jewelry and handicrafts are made at a jewelry-makingdemonstration. The rest of the day is at leisure to check out Old TownScottsdale or just relax at your hotel. Today breakfast will be included.

Day 3: Scottsdale - Sedona - Grand Canyon
Begin the day with a visit to the beautiful city of Sedona and takesome time to shop in the marketplace. You will be amazed with OakCreek Canyon, where the rock formations seem to change hue withevery turn in the road. Later, as you travel through the spectacularKaibab National Forest, you will reach the South Rim of the GrandCanyon. Today breakfast and dinner will be included.

Day 4: Grand Canyon - Lake Powell
This morning you will have ample time to explore the Grand Canyon.Behold amazing views of the canyon with a drive along the SouthRim. Theodore Roosevelt, upon visiting the canyon, is quoted assaying, "This is one of the great sights which every American, if hecan travel at all, must see." Later, a short drive brings you to CameronTrading Post. For nearly a century, the post has been a haven fortravelers, traders, and explorers who come from all points of the globeto see the wonder of the Grand Canyon and experience the NativeAmerican cultures of the Southwest. Continue north through mesastuddeddesert scenery before arriving at your home for the next twoevenings, Lake Powell Resort, a stunning hotel that overlooks thesparkling blue waters of Lake Powell. Today breakfast and dinner willbe included.

Day 5: Lake Powell - Monument Valley - Lake Powell
Begin your day with an invigorating breakfast cruise* along lovelyLake Powell. Journey through the territory of the Navajo nation andarrive in Monument Valley, a sacred Navajo land featuring colorfulsandstone spires that rise hundreds of feet from the valley floor. Enjoyan exciting Jeep tour, narrated by one of the Navajo tribe members. Astop will be made at a Hogan. The history and symbolism of a Hoganrepresents every aspect of Navajo life: their thinking, reasoning,planning and their philosophy. Later today, return to Lake Powell foran evening of leisure. Today breakfast will be included.

Day 6: Lake Powell - Bryce Canyon National Park - Zion NationalPark
Today, travel to Bryce Canyon National Park, truly one of themost spectacular scenic wonders of the world. The formationswithin Bryce Canyon National Park, called Hoodoos, are the creationof wind and water erosion over eons of time. Iron oxidizing within therock causes the natural orange and red hues that color theseformations. Your final destination for the day is the red and whitesandstone cliffs of Zion National Park**. In sheer magnitude andcolor, Zion is very likely one of the most awe-inspiring national parksin the world. Today breakfast and dinner will be included.

Day 7: Zion National Park - Las Vegas, Nevada
Climb aboard Zion’s open-air tram to truly experience spectacularscenery as you wind alongside the Virgin River through the 2,400 footdeep, 1/2 mile wide Zion Canyon. Later, leave nature's beauty behindfor the glitz and glamour of the Las Vegas strip. Probably the mostfamous stretch of road in the world, its 4 miles of neon-lit resorts witharound-the-clock action is like nowhere else on earth. A two-night stay provides you plenty of time to enjoy the shows, the casinos and all thefun. Today breakfast will be included.

Day 8: Las Vegas
Today is yours to do as you please. Lounge by the pool sipping cooldrinks, experience an amazing one-of-a-kind show, go hiking, or tryyour luck in the casino. Or perhaps explore the hotels on the strip withthemes that capture your attention as you get swept away by thewonders inside. Take time to visit Mandalay Bay's Shark Reefaquarium or stop by the Luxor to see the sphinxes and pyramid. NewYork-New York brings the "Big Apple" to life right on the Vegasstrip. See the Eiffel Tower, "ooh" and "ahh" at the Mirage volcano, orwatch pirates battle at Treasure Island. The Las Vegas strip brings theworld to you. Today breakfast and dinner will be included.

Day 9: Las Vegas - Tour Ends
Depart for home with amazing memories of your vacation.
