- What is a Value Tour?
- More people are likely to travel on a Multi-Day
Tour if it is reasonably priced. They can take more tours and they may bring their
kids or grandkids along. In order to keep the price reasonable, the Hotels are
for the most part, located outside of large cities; Meals are basic-- Continental
Breakfasts with Dinner Buffets. On the positive side, you will be staying in name
brand hotels, the local step-on guides are very knowledgeable and you will not
have to be concerned about finding a restaurant for dinner. For those who are
more adventurous and would like to spend more time in the city or want upgraded
meals, we recommend that you inquire about a shuttle or taxi to the site you are
interested in. Even with this extra expense, there still is a substantial savings
over staying in an expensive hotel in the city.
- Tour Price Includes
- Transportation,
services of a well trained Tour Escort, all sightseeing, admissions, meals as
listed in the itinerary, all taxes, bellman and waiters. You may provide an additional
gratuity for the step on guides, motorcoach driver and tour escorts for a job
well done.
- Price Changes
- Due to the continuously rising
fuel costs and the weakened US Dollar in Canada, all trip prices are subject to
change.
- Meals
- For your convenience and budgeting needs
we include at least one meal a day and many times there are more. We try to select
quality local restaurants that reflect the character and ambience of the area
we are visiting. In order to allow some degree of freedom, some meals will purposely
not be included, but rest assured that restaurants will always be conveniently
located.
- Luggage Handling
- Leave all your luggage handling
worries behind you as we take care of getting your one bag on and off the coach
and to your hotel room. We ask that you take care of your own carry-on.
- Crossing into Canada Via Motorcoach
- All passengers going into Canada
will now be required to present Proof Of Citizenship BEFORE BOARDING THE
COACH. It is our responsibility to check that each person has this proof
with them in order to protect the other passengers from a delay. Anyone who cannot
show proper ID to the tour escort, will be denied entry onto the coach. Furthermore,
there will be no refund given for the missed tour.

U.S. and Canadian citizens who
are 15 years old & under will still be allowed to travel with their birth
certificate, as will teens between the age of 16-18 if they are part of an adult
supervised group. Children who are not traveling with a parent, must have a notarized
permission note signed by the parent.
- Proper ID for the airlines
- You
must show Proper Picture ID in order to board the airplane. Proper Picture ID
means a Government or State Issued ID only. Each passenger must have one of the
following forms of ID which you must show when boarding: 1. Driver’s License
2. Government Issued ID 3. Valid Up-To-Date Passport 4. Military ID Card. Check
your travel documents to assure that you have the correct ID.
- Travel
Documents
- For Motorcoach trips, itineraries and other information will
be send out approximately 4 weeks before the departure date. For Cruises and trips
involving airline tickets, the travel documents will be sent to us approximately
2-3 weeks before departure. While we can send you the documents, we prefer to
have a meeting in person to review the documents and answer any questions you
may have.
- Know How Tours Escort/Air Based Tours
- With
the variety of tours we offer, there is always the possibility that a trip may
attract a small number of travelers and not allow us to include one of our Escorts.
But rest assured that the trip is still a Go! We always arrange our AIR Tours
through a major tour wholesaler and reserve space on a “scheduled departure”.
This avoids the disappointment of a cancellation for you, and assures that the
trip is a “GO” whether we send 2 or 40 travelers.
- Your tour will be well hosted and the absence of our Escort will not
effect the quality of the trip. You will meet the Tour Director of the
wholesale tour company at the destination airport. Upon meeting your
Tour Director, you’ll be in good hands throughout the trip. You will
receive all other benefits associated with the tour such as, Travel
Dollars & a Pre-Departure Meeting.
- What is not Included
- On
most destinations we work in conjunction with other major tour companies. You
will receive information about their procedures and optional tours with your documents.
On these tours, gratuities for the Coach Driver and Tour Directors are not included.
On cruises, shore excursions and gratuities for shipboard personnel are not included
unless otherwise specified.
- Immunizations
- We encourage
you to check with your family Doctor for recommendations concerning immunizations.
- Prices Subject to Change
- We reserve the right to change the price
of a trip in the event our original pricing is increased by one of our suppliers,
ex. Fuel surcharges, etc.
- Cancellations & Refunds
- Some
of the Multi-Day Motorcoach Tours include Cancellation/Trip Interruption Insurance,
most do not. For your peace of mind, we strongly recommend purchasing it. The
insurance covers these reasons: illness, injury or death of yourself, your traveling
companion or a member of your immediate family. This coverage also includes trip
interruption insurance which will give you full or partial reimbursement for transportation
back home and also may provide reimbursement for the uncompleted portion of your
trip. A request for a cancellation must be submitted in writing.
- Refunds Involving 'Covered' Reasons
- A full refund will be given for
insured trips if the cancellation is due to one of the reasons listed in the insurance
policy. The cost of the insurance is not refundable.
- Refunds Involving 'Non-Covered' Reasons
- If you do not experience one
of the "Covered Reasons" OR you did not purchase the insurance, the following
refund policy will go into effect:
- A full refund will be given
(less the non-refundable processing fee) for cancellation received prior to final
payment date.
- No refund for cancellations after the final payment date.
